Jammu & Kashmir Bank (J&K Bank), one of India’s oldest and most respected financial institutions, sought to modernize its customer engagement strategy across its extensive branch network. With a vision to enhance in-branch customer experience, improve operational communication, and reinforce brand identity, the bank partnered with Firstouch to deploy cutting-edge Active LED Display solutions across 87 of its key branches.

Location – Jammu & Kashmir
This large-scale digital transformation initiative replaced outdated static displays and analog communication methods with a dynamic, high-resolution Active LED Display capable of delivering real-time content, promotional messaging, and critical banking information. The deployment not only elevated the bank’s visual presence but also streamlined internal communications and strengthened customer trust through transparent, engaging, and up-to-date information delivery.
Prior to the project, J&K Bank faced several operational and customer experience challenges:
Outdated Communication Tools: Many branches relied on printed posters, bulletin boards, or basic LCD screens that were difficult to update and lacked visual impact.
Inconsistent Brand Messaging: With decentralized content management, branches often displayed inconsistent or delayed information, diluting brand coherence.
Low Customer Engagement: Static displays failed to capture customer attention or effectively communicate product offerings, interest rates, or digital banking services.
Operational Inefficiencies: Manual updates across 87 locations were time-consuming, error-prone, and resource-intensive.
The bank needed a scalable, centralized, and future-ready digital signage solution that could operate reliably in diverse environments—from urban centers in Srinagar and Jammu to remote locations in Ladakh—while maintaining high uptime and visual clarity.
Firstouch proposed a tailored deployment of its Active LED Video Wall system, designed specifically for high-traffic, mission-critical environments like banking halls. Key features of the solution included:
The project was executed in four phases:
Firstouch conducted detailed site audits across all 87 locations to assess power infrastructure, ambient lighting, wall space, and network connectivity. Custom mounting solutions were designed for each branch layout.
Three pilot branches (Srinagar, Jammu, and Leh) were equipped with the LED video walls to test performance, content flow, and user feedback. Adjustments were made to brightness calibration and content zoning based on pilot results.
Deployment was carried out in clusters of 10–15 branches per week, minimizing disruption to banking operations. Local technicians were trained by Firstouch engineers to handle basic maintenance.
J&K Bank’s marketing and IT teams received comprehensive training on content creation, scheduling, and system monitoring. A detailed operations manual and SLA-backed support framework were provided.
Within 6 months of full deployment, J&K Bank observed significant improvements across multiple dimensions:
“The Firstouch LED video wall solution has transformed how we communicate with our customers and staff. It’s not just a display—it’s a strategic tool that reflects our commitment to innovation and service excellence across every corner of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.”
— Chief Digital Officer, Jammu & Kashmir Bank
The successful deployment of Active LED Display Walls across 87 J&K Bank branches stands as a benchmark for digital transformation in India’s public sector banking. By partnering with Firstouch, the bank has future-proofed its in-branch communication infrastructure, strengthened customer engagement, and set a new standard for visual storytelling in financial services.
This project underscores how purpose-built technology, when aligned with institutional goals and local operational realities, can drive measurable business value at scale—even in geographically and climatically challenging regions.
