In a significant step towards promoting eco-tourism and enhancing visitor engagement, the Forest Department, Himachal Pradesh introduced an 43″ Information Kiosk at Kamyana Hill Top, Shimla. Designed to provide tourists with instant access to destination information, local attractions, navigation assistance, and environmental awareness content, the kiosk serves as a modern digital touchpoint for visitors exploring one of Shimla’s emerging tourism destinations.
The project gained special recognition when Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, experienced the Interactive Information Kiosk during his visit to Kamyana Hill Top. His interaction with the digital platform highlighted the growing role of technology in strengthening tourism infrastructure and improving public access to information across the state.
